It was a Tues night, there was lots of seating available. We arrived at 5:25 and were headed back out the door after dinner at 6:15. My husband and i needed to grab a quick bite for dinner as we were headed to an evening appt. We used to visit regularly when the chain came to the pgh area but are over the newness and the restaurants are over serving a great burger and now are just average.Overall, the experience we had at Red Robin was ok. We will prob frequent Red Robin again but to be honest, we usually only visit once a year or so anymore. The flavor of the chophouse burger was good. Red Robin should cut back slightly on the sauce amount and maybe put it next to the bun so it would be absorbed. Why put lots of sauce between cheese and mushrooms or burger and cheese? There is no where for it it go but out over your hand, dripping on your plate. And we both issues with the sauce on both the burgers. He was looking for more of a cheeseburger but the sauce was not to his liking. My hubby liked the burger but said it was not one of the best burgers they had on the menu. I had the chophouse burger, hubby had the master cheese which was a new burger. Overall, the experience we had at Red Robin was ok.
